My Story

This picture of me, inventing the color orange, was when I was in 5th grade and the earliest age I remember wanting to be a comedian. Before that it was a Harlem Globetrotter. Despite being a more sensible choice, my teacher was less than supportive of my budding comedy career.

To her credit my jokes weren’t as nuanced back then. They were less ‘set up… punchline’ and more ‘I’m going to throw scissors high into the air and catch them in my pocket.’

I remember her telling me “every instinct you have is wrong.” One year later, and this is 100% true, she would get arrested for embezzling money from the school Book Fair.

I believe this is an allegory for life and sums up my outlook on it, “You should do what makes you happy and anyone who’s rude to you should go to jail.”

This website is the home base for the stuff I’m doing. I love comedy and making things and it’s fun to share it all with you guys. If you’re a little freak and you want to join the ride, there’s a spot to enter your email at the bottom of the page. Welcome aboard the Hype Train.
